At Great Hearts Invictus, our goal is to provide an environment that allows every student who wants to learn the opportunity to achieve academically. Our students receive a classical, liberal arts education through immersion in subjects such as Language Arts, Math, History, Science, Foreign Language, Art, Music, and Physical Education. In each of these subjects, we employ Socratic Instruction, in which the teacher uses guided questions to help the student discover, ask his or her own questions, and truly come to know the concept being covered in a deep and meaningful way. A student’s sense of wonder and depth of inquiry are celebrated and fostered as they seek to discover ideas such as Justice, Liberty, Equality, Truth, Beauty, and Goodness through our “Classics to Keep” library and unique pedagogical approaches such as the Spalding Method and Singapore Math.
