Carline & Traffic Flow

As part of our ongoing efforts to streamline the carline process, we are continuing to implement various improvements to reduce wait times and optimize the flow of traffic. Below are a few important reminders.

Please review the complete and updated 2023-2024 Traffic Guidelines document here.

Follow Staff Instructions

  • Please ensure that you are following our traffic staff instructions. Our traffic staff is there to ensure the safety of your scholars. If they ask you to stop your vehicle, please remain stopped until given instructions to proceed.
  • Do not unload your students until a staff member is present next to your vehicle and/or opens your door. If you have older scholars, please instruct them not to open their doors until a staff member is present.

Carline Entry

  • There is only ONE entry point for carline.  This entry point will open at 3:15pm everyday (1:25 pm on early release days).  Please refrain from queuing before this time to prevent traffic congestion on Bandera Road. We also kindly request that you avoid forming a line in the Home Depot parking lot. SAPD personnel will be present on-site to guide you until 3:15 pm. If you choose to queue or park along Bandera or in the business lots, you may be subject to citations.
  • To enter into the carline, turn right near Falcon Bank and continue to follow the road to the front of the school. For reference, please see the carline Map. Cutting through our staff parking lot or nearby business parking lots is strictly prohibited.
  • If you need to pick your child up before the end of the school day, you will need to do so prior to 2:45 p.m. (12:45 p.m. on early release Friday).  The end of the school day is a critical time for our scholars. They will be packing up, receiving announcements and conducting agenda checks, along with finishing the day’s curriculum. When parents attempt to pick up during this time at the end of the day, it becomes a severe disruption to the classroom.  Please plan accordingly.

Off-Campus Parking and Traffic

  • Parking in commercial nearby businesses is not permitted. Please be aware that any vehicles found parked at nearby businesses will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.  We want to be good neighbors to our surrounding communities, so we appreciate your cooperation.

These guidelines will contribute to a safe and efficient drop-off and pick-up process. Your cooperation and adherence to these procedures will play a significant role in their successful implementation.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to the welfare of our students. We look forward to another productive and enriching academic year at Invictus.
